So this is going to be a bit of a difficult review for me to write. I didn’t want to know much going in and having seen the film now, you shouldn’t either!

Basically it picks up off after Infinity War, and you see repercussions from that film. Full credit to the directors Anthony and Joe Russo for helping orchestrate such a narrative balancing act, as the likes of Robert Downey Jr and Chris Evans really get to shine, and without saying too much, if you liked the previous films at all, you’ll really get a kick out of this one!

Indeed, if I have one criticism really, it’s that from a pacing POV, the lean-back on a battle within the third act seems to fall into cliche somewhat. But given this film otherwise leaves a big smile on your face, it’s hard to complain too much. Here’s to another decade of Marvel films post-Endgame!
