Back again 😛. So I saw Us today, the new film by Jordan Peele, writer and director of the amazing Get Out, and I highly recommend the film. But why?

Well, firstly the story’s quite interesting, centred around a family who go on holiday and are later stalked by doppelgängers. Now the family’s African-American, so while you might then assume there could be racial subtext, given for example how Get Out had that, the reality is this horror film keeps things focused on the “personal” instead. It’s actually hard for me to say too much more without spoiling all the surprises, so I’ll instead say the actors like Lupita Nyongo and Elizabeth Moss are excellent in their own ways, as is the rest, and Jordan Peele continues to prove an amazing talent. So get out (see what I did there?) there and watch this already!!
